Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

The icy roads and the chilling weather conditions once again might be forcing us to stay behind the closed doors, but the Holy Spirit fire within us cannot be put out by anything around us since it is a fire of God.

As children of God we are so privileged to enjoy the warmth, excitement and comfort of the Holy Spirit in every adversity of life. This morning as we look through the window, even though it might be cloudy and chilly, the bright Morning Star of Heaven is our guide and source of power. He never fails us. He is still in charge of our situations.

I wanted to continue the series on the Fruit of the Spirit. If the Lord tarries to come, we will do it next week. We are commanded to bear fruit for the Kingdom.

As we hear about the terrorist attack in Paris and all the other calamities around the globe, one thing is for sure- wickedness is abounding all around us in an unprecedented way.

As the laws and regulations are exponentially growing, so does the lawlessness! The spirit of lawlessness

is invading the hearts and minds of people and keeps them captive.

We Christians who bear the fruit of the Spirit are the only hope of this world, since we have the law “written in our hearts”. The world we live in is groping in the dark since it rejected the true light, the Light of the World. I truly believe that the world (people around us) will come to this Light seeing the fruit in us. They are desperately in need. What we have in us is real, authentic, refreshing and invigorating. The question is are we revealing this fruit to the world? What kind of fruit are we displaying? We are commanded—-34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35(ESV)

This is my prayer that the spirit of God may invade our hearts and souls, baptizing us with His love so that the fruit of love may be overflowing in us and be revealed to the world.

.
.

I pray that the Lord may guide, protect and empower you all and have a blessed week.

Pastor AK George
